The Maharishi Ayurveda Private Clinic has enjoyed this top award since 2010 and this year, for the 13th time in a row, is the only Ayurveda provider in Germany to be awarded 2 Lilies.

“Authentic Ayurveda cures: a specialist in Ayurvedic detoxification cures (“Panchakarma”) for more than three decades and at the same time the last bastion of the Maharishi organization in Germany. Its founder, the guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who died in 2008, was instrumental in making the millennia-old Indian system of medicine known worldwide. The center has now developed into a leading Ayurveda provider in Europe, is subject to strict quality criteria, is run as a state-approved private clinic and can easily compete with the best of its counterparts in India or Sri Lanka.
It is housed in the east wing of Häcker’s Grandhotel, where spa guests have access to rooms in five categories, which are located on the upper floors and are all furnished to a high standard. The restaurant, which is separate for spa guests, is also located here; the Ayurveda cuisine is organic and very good.
The small hotel spa with thermal bath and two saunas can also be used. The hotel’s domain is classic cures for detoxification, revitalization and the treatment of chronic illnesses that are difficult to treat. In addition to 10, 14 and 21-day Panchakarma cures, there are also one to seven-day trial packages on offer, and diagnosis and treatments are also available on an outpatient basis. Very good treatments, including six different enemas, full-body synchronized oil massages as well as tinnitus and pain therapies with high-quality oils and excellent remedies – these are the best we have come across in 25 years. An empathetic and experienced team of doctors, pleasant surroundings, friendly staff. International clientele, the capacity of the clinic is around 50 guests.”
