Bronchial asthma

Bronchial asthma

When breathing is difficult.

“My chest feels like it is being squeezed.” “I can hardly breathe out.” “I feel like I’m suffocating.”

This or a similar experience is what asthmatic patients report with regard to their excruciating attacks.

Although today asthma is rarely life threatening, it can produce great psychological strain. Asthma is characterized by narrowing of the airways in the lungs. An excessive reaction within the bronchia causes the inhaled air to be exhaled from the lungs only with great difficulty.

It doesn’t matter whether this is triggered by physical strain, allergens, work-related inhaling of various dusts or the recurring infections of chronic asthma.

What is the Vedic medicine point of view on bronchial asthma?

According to the Maharishi Ayurveda approach, bronchial asthma starts with the loss of natural balance.

Metabolic residues develop continuously due to improper lifestyle. In the case of bronchial asthma, toxins (in Ayurveda called “Ama”) accumulate in the bronchia. Each asthma patient knows that stress and an unstable nervous system can serve as a trigger for the familiar symptoms.

In Ayurveda every patient is different and so each person’s bronchial asthma complaint varies. The Ayurvedic approach at our Centre is holistic.

What is the significance of that?

Vedic medicine offers different methods of treatment. After an in-depth medical diagnosis at our Centre, a comprehensive treatment plan is individually tailored for each bronchial asthma patient.

An increasing number of patients experience
that conventional therapies alone no longer suffice.

They recognize that healing must take place on all levels. In the case of bronchial asthma, for example, an emphasis on elimination of toxins as well as balancing of the nervous system can be recommended. It is important to bring all natural regulatory principles back into harmony. Nutritional recommendations and helpful exercises, as well as specific herbal mixtures tailored according to your needs, support a health-conscious lifestyle. In this way, your natural self-healing abilities can lessen asthma symptoms effectively.
