Vaidya Kalyan Chakravarty, MD, created this treatment especially for our Centre using knowledge gained from his ayurvedic family tradition. It is a Vasthi-therapy with versatile applications.
In this treatment, an individually prepared herbalized oil mixture is applied locally on the affected area for a set amount of time. Our therapists prepare a protective barrier made of thick dough from chickpea flour and place it on the affected body part. All Vasthis are highly Vata calming and nourishing. They are especially recommended for pain conditions and increased functioning in the targeted area.
